Many of our pavement engineers have over 20 years of experience and direct working experience with the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT). Many hold graduate degrees; we even have a few pavement Ph.Ds.

We are leaders in pavement management. Our expertise in pavement engineering ranges from design to evaluation. We have developed courses for the National Highway Institute on "Pavement Deflection Analysis" and "Pavement Smoothness: Using Inertial Profilers for Construction Acceptance." Using our Falling Weight Deflectometer (FWD), we can quickly characterize the overall strength of the roadway and evaluate individual pavement layers.

If your roads need to cross soft ground, we'll design systems that work. If your runways need to carry the C-17, we'll do the job right. We'll tailor our pavement design to your project needs using site condition information and traffic requirements. We'll prepare bid documents including plans, technical specifications, general conditions and special conditions, and provide quality control and project administration services during construction.
