Paul Anderson, EIT Transfers to SME Traverse City Office

August 5, 2008 (Plymouth, MI) – Soil and Materials Engineers, Inc. (SME) announced the transfer of Paul E. Anderson, EIT, Senior Engineer from the firm’s Plymouth office to the firm’s Traverse City office.

Paul is a native of Suttons Bay and brings with him four years of geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing experience with SME. Paul will serve our northern Michigan clients by providing solutions to geotechnical engineering challenges and constructability issues, including foundation design, ground improvement, earth retention systems, vibration monitoring, and construction materials testing. He has provided geotechnical engineering on several high profile projects in the Traverse City area, including the Leland Dam in Leland and the Kinney Building in Traverse City.

Paul holds a master of science degree and a bachelor of science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Michigan.
